Her Neighbor Accused Her Of Being Too Young To Own Her House And She’s Telling The Internet Her Neighbor Then Called The Police On Her

Days ago, she started to paint the door that faces the front of her house, and Jane angrily came over and snapped at her for needing permission before painting a house she doesn’t own.

“I again told her I own the home,” she said.

“She started yelling that I was too young to buy a house and she was contacting my landlord. I told her to stop being a busy body and leave me alone.”

“She started demanding proof. I told her it was none of her business and to get off my property. She walked to the edge of her yard and called the police saying I was a squatter.”

The police did come, and she presented her evidence that she bought the home to them, before asking that they have Jane escorted off her property. Jane was livid.

She decided to speak to her dad about the situation and ask his advice for how to handle things. Her dad reprimanded her for having made quick enemies with Jane since that’s her neighbor, and her dad thinks she should have handled it differently.

Her dad thought that it would have been better if she let Jane see the paperwork stating she owned the house instead of letting things blow up like that.

She doesn’t agree with her dad that she did anything wrong here.

Here’s what the internet had to say.

“Your neighbor made an enemy of you, not the other way around. She bullied you because of your age, this is not your fault. You didn’t owe her proof of homeownership at all. She’s not entitled to that, she’s a stranger.”
