This woman revealed that she recently became pregnant, and now she is worried that the cat will try to act the same way towards her baby.
“I brought up the idea of taking the cat to a cat sanctuary, where it would hopefully be able to find a new home, in a relaxing environment and without fear of being euthanized, since we can’t take it to any family members, since his family is refusing to have the cat, and my family is in the UK,” she explained.
Understandably, her husband was upset about dumping his elderly cat like that, so they fought for several days about what to do with his cat.
Eventually, her husband gave in to her demands and he dropped his cat off at the rescue. Despite the fact that he did what she wanted, he is angry.
“I feel really bad for my husband, however, I do feel like it was the right decision, not only for the dog but our future baby,” she said.
