Her boss arrived 2 hours after her and immediately asked to speak with her in the office. Her boss revealed to her that she would be penalized 8 points, and in addition, she was going to not be able to have any bonuses or discounts for three whole months.
On top of all that, her boss basically threatened to fire her by saying she was going to be placed on probation.
Her boss then tried to make her sign some papers acknowledging her punishment, which she refused to do.
“She said if I didn’t, I would be terminated,” she continued. “I told her not to bother and walked out.”
After she quit on the spot, her boss and her coworkers started flooding her with phone calls and text messages.
All of them are insisting that they really need her help and they tried to accuse her of being a terrible person for deciding to quit.
Her husband is siding with her, as he agreed the whole situation was absurd and that she was “getting punished for almost dying.”

“Then you went above and beyond, by keeping your boss in the loop the whole time as if your boss were part of your family, something you should not have had to do. Lastly, as a favor to them, even though you’re not 100% better, you still made the effort to come in.
“And what do they do? They take away your perks and threaten you with termination.”
