He Asked His Fiancée To Sign A Prenup And It Seems Like She’s Going To Be Calling Off Their Wedding Over It

Obviously, he doesn’t want to get divorced; he just wants to protect himself against the unknown, and he doesn’t get why she is so against his wishes.

His fiancée then said he probably should not even go through with the wedding if he believes there is any chance of her taking everything he owns down the line.

He feels his fiancée is blowing things way out of proportion here, and if she really didn’t want to take anything away from him, she would have no issue with signing a prenup in the first place.

“She said that I should find another woman who’s rich so that I know she’s not after my money. Then she left the house and hasn’t come back since,” he said.

He discussed what happened with his family members, and they all think he’s not in the wrong at all for asking about a prenup.

However, his fiancée’s brother called him up after this all went down, and her brother thinks that he’s a terrible person.

Her brother also let him know that she most likely will cancel the wedding entirely.

“My family thinks that I should break it off with her as well and that I dodged a bullet,” he continued.

He really doesn’t know how to proceed in light of everything that has happened and the conflicting feedback he’s receiving from his family vs. his fiancée’s brother.

How would you deal with this?
