The State College Police Department revealed that they had forensic, video, and eyewitness evidence that has aided them so far in their investigation.
It was ultimately concluded that Justine’s death was “accidental in nature” but Justine’s mom is not so positive that her death was an accident.

Speaking to NBC New York, Justine’s mom Francoise Gross said that shortly before Justine died, she talked to a young man in her building who gave her a smoke.
“There’s absolutely more that they can do and much more questions,” Francoise told NBC New York about the ongoing investigation.
