Her Mom Was Diagnosed With Cancer And Then Had To Have Her Leg Amputated: Now She’s Trying To Get Her Mom A Prosthetic Leg So She Can Dance At Her Wedding

Carol’s medical bills are piling up, and Sarah recently learned that her mom will need to experiment and get several different kinds of prostheses so she can find the one that fits her the best.

Some of the prostheses Carol is looking at cost $50,000 or more, and her insurance company is not going to cover all of those costs.

Sarah and Carol were also told by the insurance company that if Carol wants to get a prosthetic leg that is waterproof, that’s “a luxury item” that is not financially covered in any way, shape, or form.

Carol enjoys going to the beach, swimming at her gym’s pool, and swimming in the ocean, so Sarah is really hoping to help her mom raise the money she needs to afford a prosthetic that is waterproof.

“We all know that this will let her live a better and more fulfilled life down the road,” Sarah said.

“Any help to make this transition into her NEW life and get her back to the beach, pool, and DANCING at my wedding in June would be so greatly appreciated.”
