A 26-year-old woman recently attended her good friend’s wedding. Her friend, who is 27, wound up being an absolute bridezilla, so the majority of the wedding ceremonies went south because of that.

She also nearly skipped out on her friend’s wedding but chose to just go so she wouldn’t create any problems. The day of the wedding arrived, and while she was at the wedding reception, she was speaking to several people there.

The groom, her friend’s 34-year-old husband, also happened to be in this group of people she was chatting with, and she really didn’t know this guy well at all.

Suddenly, the groom confronted her about not having spent any “one-on-one” time with him before the wedding. His comment immediately struck her as strange because it’s not like they were friends or had ever hung out.
There was no reason for her to spend quality time with him alone, and she tried to brush off what he was saying, but he continued to talk about this topic.

“I steered the convo towards their honeymoon when he said “bet you wish it was you who was going with me, right,” she explained.
“I didn’t reply ’cause I thought I misheard him. He kept repeating it though and he started saying how if I was his bride he wouldn’t be able to control himself right now and that we would have been doing it right here.”
“I didn’t know how to respond, so I…started walking away when he grabbed my arm and said, “Let’s get out of here. We can be done in 30 minutes, and no one will miss us,” to which I responded, no, I will not. He still didn’t let go of me and kept saying I know you want to.”

At this point, her friend Emma walked up to them along with her boyfriend. Emma had heard every single thing that the groom said to her, and the groom began freaking out. The groom accused her of being “inappropriate” and intoxicated, even though she had nothing to drink that day.
Another one of her guy friends was aware of the fact that she had nothing to drink, and he approached her and the groom too now.
The Groom Was Clearly Lying

Her friend got very upset with the groom since he know that this guy was lying about her being drunk. It’s worth noting at this point that the groom himself was also completely sober while propositioning her.
Quickly thereafter, the bride noticed there was some commotion, so she walked over to all of them. Her friend the bride asked her husband what was going on, and again, this guy insisted she was drunk and misguided.

“The bride started screaming at me for trying to sabotage her day so I told her exactly what her precious husband had said to me with Emma backing up everything,” she said.

She later heard from the bride’s own sister that many guests at the wedding thought she was telling the truth, and they all walked out after she did.

The Bride Is Still Saying She’s Trying To Destroy Her Marriage

“The bride has sent me a lengthy text saying that I should have kept it quiet and talked about it later on and that she’s cutting off contact with me as I’m trying to destroy her marriage,” she concluded.
She is aware that other wedding guests feel that she should have kept things quiet at the wedding too and only told the bride after it was done. She’s left wondering if she handled things in the best way.
