This Teen Went Missing Back In November And Her Stepmom Is Desperately Trying To Find Her

Powhatan, Virginia. Joni Bradley is a 16-year-old girl who went missing on November 9th from Powhatan, Virginia.
That day, Joni left her house to head over to a medical appointment that she had in the village of Powhatan.
After she finished up her appointment, Joni was able to reach out to her dad to tell him that she forgot her phone back at Powhatan County Sheriff Bradford Nunnally explained in a press conference that Joni was then spotted on a security camera leaving the building through a backdoor.
Joni was by herself at the time, and this was around 4 in the afternoon. As soon as Joni made her exit, she shut her cellphone off, and she also stopped using her social media profiles.
Joni’s family quickly noticed she was gone far longer than it would have taken her to retrieve her phone, and they reached out to the Powhatan County Sheriff’s Office for help.
It’s now been 72 days since Joni disappeared, and nobody knows where she is.

The Powhatan County Sheriff’s Office acknowledged that Joni being gone for so long is “unusual” and they have been working every single day since she went missing to try to figure out where she went.
Joni does frequently go by different names, though the authorities have not mentioned what those names are, and she does also dye her hair different colors.

Kelli Bradley, Joni’s stepmom, is desperately trying to find Joni.
“She has a freckle on her right cheek,” Kelli explained in the press conference that the Powhatan County Sheriff’s Office gave.
“She has three freckles on her chest. Sometimes she wears a nose ring. She loves to cook, she loves art, and I wanted to say something to you, Joni.”
“If you’re ok, please come home. Please let me know you’re ok.” Kelli continued to say that Joni’s younger sister Bella wrote a letter to her expressing that her heart hurts her with Joni gone.
Kelli thinks that Joni could be anywhere at this point in time, and she’s blindsided by the fact that Joni up and left. The day that Joni disappeared, she was making her favorite kind of chicken for her in the crockpot.
Joni has struggled with her mental health over the last few years, and her family has worked so hard to get her the help that she so needed.

“She’s never been gone for this long, ever. Not just texting and calling but everything has been null and void since November 9th,” Kelli said.
“In my heart, I don’t feel like she’s okay and I need help to find her.”
Kelli mentioned in a Facebook post that Joni has lived in several counties over the course of her life so far, and she has connections in the following counties: Chesterfield, Powhatan, Amelia, Blackstone, Victoria, Goochland, Richmond, and Petersburg.
At one point, Joni was hospitalized in Petersburg, and she did meet tons of people while she was there.
Kelli also believes that Joni could even be in southern Boston by now since she has connections there as well.
“I just want to hear your voice and know you are alive Joni,” Kelli wrote in a Facebook post from a few days ago. “I know you don’t want to feel the way you do.”
“But it’s not too late. It’s never too late. I’m still right here. Breathe. Find a phone. Call me. Tell me. Please.”
