A 25-year-old woman is married to her husband, who is 36, and several weeks ago she unearthed something her husband had been hiding from her.
Inside one of her husband’s drawers in his office desk, she discovered photos of his deceased girlfriend.
She was floored to find out that his girlfriend who passed away looked just like she did. This girl looked so much like her, in fact, she could have been her twin.
She certainly felt like her husband had only married her as some kind of substitution for the woman he lost, and she did discuss the photos with her husband.
She was able to get past that initial situation, though she still felt that everything was off, and she chose to continue going through her husband’s personal things in order to try to find out more about his deceased girlfriend.
Well, what she found was a whole lot more than she bargained for.
After getting a hold of the last name of her husband’s deceased girlfriend, she located her social media profiles and started going through her photos.
She was again disturbed by how much she really looked like this girl, but then came across photos of this girl’s mom.
Her mom also looked like she could be related to her, and she knew in her heart there was simply no way this was all just a big similarity.

Once again, she went back to her husband to confront him, and he finally told her an enormous secret that he had been keeping from her.
“…She was my sister and he knew it all along, when we met he already knew who I was because she was trying to find me and he was helping her,” she explained.
“Long story short, her mom cheated on her dad, and keeping me was not an option if she wanted to keep her marriage, she (his late girlfriend) thought that I was dead until a few years before she died she found out that I wasn’t.”
“He assured me that he didn’t start dating me because of that, that he really liked me when we started talking, and that he loves me for who I am.”
Her husband’s reasoning behind never telling her any of this is that he didn’t see any “point” since his girlfriend had passed.
She lost it after learning this, and her husband revealed that he had a whole stack of evidence to back up the fact that his deceased girlfriend had really looked hard for her.
Her husband still maintains that he only met her randomly, though she does suspect that’s an entire lie.
“According to him we met by chance, but I don’t know if that’s also a lie, when we met we were both new here because we had recently moved for work,” she said.
“Maybe he knew who I was and that’s why he moved? I don’t know. All I know is that I know absolutely nothing, nothing about my marriage, nothing about my own family, I don’t even know who I am anymore, and I’ll probably never know.”
She isn’t only upset with her husband; she’s upset with her adoptive parents, as they never wanted to share any information with her about her biological family.

She’s left wondering if she will ever be able to forgive her husband for this one.
Do you think there’s any hope of them moving past this?
