Her Friend Is Getting Married And Wants Her To Shave Her Upper Lip For The Wedding

She was taken aback by her friend’s request since she has been close to her friend for more than a decade and her friend hasn’t ever mentioned it being a problem.

Her friend insisted that she only wanted her to shave her upper lip hair in order to make sure everyone in the bridal party looks their best, while also appeasing her family, who all tend to be disparaging towards others.

“I felt, a little bit insulted at first because I speculated she didn’t think I looked presentable with my natural hair (genetics-wise, I’m hairy…and so is the rest of my family),” she said.

“I just told her I’d think about it.”

She later filled her boyfriend in on what her friend asked of her, and her boyfriend believes that she needs to do only what makes her feel good since it is her body.

After speaking with her boyfriend, she also decided it might be good to speak to some of the other bridesmaids, but they don’t agree with her boyfriend.

The other bridesmaids think it’s not a problem for her to take care of her hair for the wedding since it’s one day of her life and it clearly is important to the bride.

She’s still on the fence about what to do, and she’s wondering if it would be really inappropriate of her to refuse to do what her friend wants.
