Her Mom Set Her Up With A Nice Guy Who Actually Had A Girlfriend And Tried To Break Into Her Home

After getting out of a sticky relationship, sometimes family or friends might try to set you up. One TikToker’s mom tried to do just that. But, the set-up completely backfired.
The woman, named Briony Tallis, took to TikTok to share the shocking turn of events.
After her mother asked if she was “still dating that insufferable leech”– her ex-boyfriend– Briony said she was not.
So, her mother claimed to know a “really nice guy” for Briony.
Well, the pair went on a date, and things got really “awkward” during the drop-off. Briony has a doorbell camera and wanted to re-watch their perplexing goodbye. But, before she could get to that footage, she came across a recording from a few hours prior.
When the man first approached Briony’s front door to pick her up, he was wrapping up a phone call. The doorbell cam caught his incriminating conversation for the world to see.
“Okay, alright, of course. I’ll see you later, I promise. I need to eat with my parents first. Okay, bye baby, I love you,” the man said on the phone before knocking on Briony’s door.
After checking the footage, she was understandably taken aback. Briony also wanted to caution the man’s apparent girlfriend, so she shared the video on TikTok.

“If your boyfriend goes by Justin, lives in OC, and drives a white Honda, then I have news for you,” she captioned the now-viral video.
Briony’s TikTok reached 9.1 million people and roped in over 1.5 million likes. The TikTok community had loads of questions, including how the date went and what happened after.
Briony posted a slew of follow-up TikToks, and one even featured the awkward goodbye.
After the date ended, the man named Justin walked Briony to her front door. She said a grateful goodbye and, instead of turning around to leave, Justin revealed his ulterior motive.
“Wait, you’re not going to give me a house tour?” he asked Briony.
She was visibly uncomfortable and simply laughed in response. But Justin kept pushing.
“Why are you laughing? Did you want to invite me in? I was hoping we could Netflix or something,” he prodded further.
She continued laughing, and the video cut off. This TikTok also reached ultra-viral status, garnering 12.1 million views and 2 million likes. Moreover, commenters everywhere were cringing.
“The awkward giggle,” one user wrote.
“That was hard to watch. On his end, though, don’t worry,” wrote a second user.
“The AUDACITY of him!” commented a third.
Briony also shared that she and Justin’s girlfriend “caught up” and “are friends now.” Still, that was not the end of her bizarre story.
After Briony outed Justin’s cheating and created the viral TikToks, Justin showed up at her house for a confrontation. Briony claimed to be at work, so they spoke through her doorbell’s telecom system.
“I’ve been trying to understand, but I cannot wrap my mind around why you had to tell my girlfriend and make this a whole big…mess,” Justin said.
“I can’t really understand why you took me out on a date when you had a girlfriend,” Briony rightfully responded.
“We did not even do anything. I don’t know why you are making such a big deal. All we did was go out for a little bit, and that’s it,” Justin said in an attempt to justify his actions.
Still, Briony was not backing down.
“I told her that’s what happened, so what she decides is her business. I don’t know why you are getting mad at me,” Briony said.
After that, Justin had the nerve to begin peering through her front door. Briony fearfully asked what he was doing, but Justin continued.
“I know you are in there. There has to be a key,” he said before searching around her porch for a way inside. This madness continued until Briony finally threatened to call the police. Justin bolted away immediately afterward.
This shocking story turned nearly dangerous very quickly. Throughout all of Briony’s posts, she blocked Justin’s identity using a smiley face sticker. But, the TikTok community believes it is time to reveal his identity to the world.
“That guy went there to hurt you. Remove the sticker. You might save someone else from him,” commented one user.
“Umm, remove the sticker. Once he tried to find a key, he lost all sticker privileges,” agreed a second user.
Since posting this final update, Briony has not shared any more information on the situation. Moreover, Justin turned out to be the son of Briony’s mother’s employer– a lawyer. In turn, this can of worms may continue to spill in the coming weeks.
