She’s Issuing A Warning On Fox Eye Surgery After Things Didn’t Go As Planned For Her

Botox, lip flips, you name it, are current trends that have altered the beauty industry.
Nowadays, it’s hard not to fall into the trap. We start to think that we won’t be socially acceptable if we haven’t had at least one of these procedures.
One of the current trends that have taken over every social media platform is the Fox Eye Lift.
What is the Fox Eye Lift?
“A fox eye lift is a medical procedure that physically changes the shape of your eye rather than alluding to the appearance of a cat-eye like makeup does,” Arviv Medical Aesthetics explained.
“The procedure is intended to mimic the appearance of fox eyes, hence the name. Although you can often achieve a similar look with makeup, a fox eye lift offers longer-lasting results. It is a harmless procedure that requires minimal recovery time.”
Sure, this may seem like the ideal procedure; however, a young woman faced a different circumstance.
Jessie Carr has caused a massive commotion on Tiki’s Tok with her Fox Eye threading story.
She was horribly mistaken as something that was supposed to be a procedure with an easy recovery.
It all started in October of 2021 when she saw this latest beauty trend popping up online everywhere.
She thought they were cool and wanted to get them done. Most of the surgical pages she reviewed posted pictures of models who had seemed to have had the surgery, including the Hadid sisters.

After doing a little research, she saw the procedure was only $2,000, so she decided to go for it.
However, at the time, little did she know that this was not the type of procedure celebrities went through to get a brow lift.
They popped a blood vessel in her face during her procedure, which caused her face to swell tremendously.
Over the next few weeks, her face began to blow up like a balloon. She contacted the office, and they told her it was normal and that the swelling would go down in a few weeks.
Putting complete trust into this company, she would treat her swelling with ice only to find that 2 1/2 weeks later, her face was still extremely swollen.
During that second week, she also noticed bruising under the same eye with the popped blood vessel.
Wondering if it could get any worse, her eyebrows became uneven. The side of her face that had experienced the trauma from the popped blood vessel had put her eyebrow back to normal, leaving the other side noticeably raised.
The doctors were confused by this. So they gave her a few options. She could have the threads removed surgically or by Ultraformer 3, where they use ultrasound waves to heat up the thread, and in the end, it could give her the facelift she was looking for.
She decided to go with that route and eventually got a refund for $1,100. So far, she has not noticed much difference with the Ultraformer3. Jessie will be back in three weeks for another round and see what other options she has.
Jessie ends her Tok Tok by heavily notating to do your research on any cosmetic procedures and fully understand what it means to go through that particular procure.
