Her Boyfriend Went Around Telling His Friends That She’s The Ugliest Girl Ever And He Only Started Dating Her As A Placeholder

Her boyfriend heartbreakingly enough told his friends he liked to think of her “with a paper bag” on her head and that he always felt that he was missing out on dating women he found attractive.

Unsure how to even respond to all of this, she walked off to leave the party and cry all alone where their guests couldn’t see her emotions out on display.

While she was gone, her boyfriend had sent her tons of text messages and tried calling her too. She did return to the party after taking a leave of absence of a few hours, and her boyfriend quickly tried to address the situation at hand, yet she told him it wasn’t time to have that discussion.

Later on, she did sit down to speak to her boyfriend about what his friend had said, and he didn’t try to deny anything.

He fully owned up to all of the alarming and soul-shattering things that he said, but he insisted that those previous comments didn’t reflect his current feelings for her.

He told her that he’s in love with her and wants to marry her too as soon as they are in a better position with money.

Her boyfriend began crying and brushing off his comments on her looks as something he only said because he was young and foolish back then.

She didn’t break up with him on the spot, but she did take a couple of days to herself to work through all of this.

“I feel incredibly ugly, and my self-esteem has shot down,” she explained. “I’m in my early twenties, and just feel like I shouldn’t pursue things further with someone who said all these horrible things about me, and thought I was the ugliest thing on the earth for our first year and half of the relationship.”

What makes her feel even more upset about all of this is that many guys were seriously interested in her back when she was her heaviest, and prior to her getting involved with her boyfriend.

Presumably, if she had chosen a different guy to date than her current boyfriend, she would have been valued and appreciated all along.
