On A First Date With A Guy Who Hadn’t Been Out On One In Nearly 5 Years, He Confessed That He Loved Her

She doesn’t typically commit to people on the second date, as it’s important to her to make sure the relationship is the real deal before cutting ties with anyone else.

She offers the man advice on how he should date around so he can get to know himself better and learn a lot in the process.

He responds with, “Well, why do I need to do that when I have found you?”

Carries informs that it was nice to hear, but she thinks he should continue to date other people as well.

So then he replies, “But I just love you.”

While this creeped her out completely, she wanted to be nice about the situation, and instead of ghosting him like she had been through before with other guys, she decided to tell him how she felt.

Carrie made it known that the discussion behind how strong his feelings were and the level of commitment he was trying to push so fast kind of freaked her out a bit.

He thanked her for communicating how she felt instead of ghosting him but made it known that he would like to see her again.

He agreed to cut back on the “I love you’s,” so it looks like they may be on for a third date!
