“…My stepdaughter living with me isn’t illegal in any way and kicking a kid out at 16 also isn’t illegal,” he said. “Her mother knows that she’s staying with me.”
He has mentioned that he’s not going to adopt his stepdaughter officially as it takes quite a long time to go through the process, and he’s not sure there’s any point to doing this.
Do you think there’s a way he can get his girlfriend to see that it’s not weird of him to be there for his stepdaughter, or do you think their relationship is doomed if that’s her stance on it?
