His Secretary Is Crushing On Him And Even Said He Would Make A Great Dad To Her Child
A 29-year-old man owns quite an enormous business, and before he began running it, it belonged to his dad.
When he was younger, his dad expected him to step up to the plate and start being involved in the business.
It wasn’t easy for him to do this, and if he could go back in time, he would have chosen to go to college for Astronomical Sciences instead of taking over the company.
The major upside to being expected to take over the family business is that he does have a bit of money.
He’s currently married to his 28-year-old wife, and they have an 18-month-old daughter together.
Before he started dating his wife, she was his employee, so when they got married 4 years ago, they invited pretty much everyone at their company.
Not too long ago, his wife ended up having to leave home to go on a research trip located in the Amazon, so they figured it was time to get him a secretary so he would have extra help in her absence.
His new secretary’s name is Jess, and Jess is a single mom who has a 5-year-old little girl. His company does have accommodations so that you can bring your children to work with you, as they have dedicated staff members there that can take care of the employee’s children.
Jess has started bringing her daughter to work for their daycare program, and he occasionally brings his daughter as well.

“I go and visit her in my breaks and Jess has seen me play with her daughter (I play with all the kids there),” he explained.
“She commented that it was nice to see her daughter happy after the terrible divorce from her husband.”
Also on his breaks, Jess began talking to him about her personal life and that she was married, but her husband didn’t have a job, which led to their divorce.
He tried to be sympathetic and nice to Jess, but Jess seems to have taken his kindness in a different way.
After those chats, Jess started spending more time with him on his breaks, and then she began texting him some very strange things.
In those texts, Jess asked him about how his marriage was going and she also questioned him on more very intimate matters.
From there, Jess started hitting on him subtly and throwing him tons of compliments. She also tried to organize playdates at his home with their daughters, despite their kids being so far apart in age.
“Recently, one of her coworkers told me that they heard her talking to her daughter about how she found a new daddy for her, who was rich and could give her everything she deserved,” he said.
“I was really creeped out by this. I felt bad for the girl because she is innocent and it’s not her fault her father was unable to take care of her.”
“I talked to my wife about this and she said Jess would get over these feelings once I gave her a strong hint and set a boundary.”
A few days ago, his wife returned from her trip and stopped by the office to say hi to him. As his wife walked in, she noticed there were roses and chocolates addressed to him.
When he entered his office and saw them too, he was quite confused. The only person that could have left those items for him was Jess since she has access to his office.
He thought his wife would be angry, though she was able to laugh it off.
His wife implicitly trusts him and is not concerned about him doing anything behind her back. While that’s great and all, he’s left wondering how he should deal with Jess.
He’s curious if he should fire her as his secretary, or if he should try to have some kind of a chat with her about her crush on him.
“I feel really bad for her daughter but this is just too much,” he continued. “I would have rejected her and asked her to keep boundaries if she had told me this directly, but technically I kind of “snooped” and got the news from someone.”
It’s causing him a great deal of stress trying to work through the best way to handle Jess. What do you think he should do?
