As time wore on though, he started to suspect that his wife’s seizures weren’t real. He noticed that if he ended up making his wife smile or giggle, she instantly would get better.
“But I wanted to trust her and believe her no matter what,” he said. “Tonight I finally asked her about why she faked a seizure she had. And she admitted that they were all fake.”
He’s furious that he sacrificed himself to try to make her feel better and it was all for nothing. He’s been working so hard to take care of his wife, and she’s been lying to him all along.
A situation like this might be a dealbreaker for many people, but he’s committed to sticking with his wife.
He wants to see his marriage through, even though his wife destroyed his ability to truly trust her.
