Her Boyfriend’s Sister Keeps Racking Up Bills On Their Credit Card, So She Froze The Account, And Now Her Boyfriend Is Furious
This woman has a boyfriend who, unfortunately, comes from a very low-income family. And even though he was able to escape the financial struggles and makes a decent salary now, he is still the only person in his family with a stable income.
Her boyfriend’s twenty-three-year-old sister, on the other hand, is apparently a “leech.”
“She is irresponsible, totally anti-work, and despises me,” she explained.
Her boyfriend’s sister’s hatred apparently all began after she had let the sister move in with her during the pandemic to help the sister out. But, while she and her boyfriend went away for a weekend camping trip, the sister threw a massive party and totally trashed the place.
“Of course, my boyfriend took her side even though he did not have any say in it– it’s my apartment. But, nowadays, she is straight-up rude to me,” she said.
In fact, the sister will even make remarks about not being able to wait until she gets broken up with.
Regardless of the harsh treatment she endures, though, her boyfriend still funds his sister’s entire life.
He apparently has a “soft spot” for his sister, but it has gone too far– especially because her boyfriend gave his sister his credit card, and the sister uses it without limits.
This has become a massive problem as of late since now she is pregnant, and she and her boyfriend need to mind their finances. And in the process of reviewing their budgets, she came to a scary realization– she is covering nearly seventy-five percent of their expenses alone.

So, she had a talk with her boyfriend about evening out the financial load, and it turned out that in order for him to cough up the extra change, he needed to take on a bunch of overtime at work. In turn, he has been basically living in the office now.
And while he was at work one day, she made another horrifying discovery.
Since her due date was quickly approaching, she needed to finish up the baby nursery on her own while her boyfriend was at the office. So, he gave her his bank information so the couple could share the total expense.
But, after going to the store, she realized that his card was not able to be used for a single item. This was pretty alarming, so she logged onto her boyfriend’s bank account and saw that his sister had spent over three thousand dollars in just one week.
After approaching her boyfriend about it, though, he just said to hold off on the nursery for a few days until he gets his next paycheck.
But, she was sick and tired of watching her boyfriend’s money fly out the window on meaningless expenses. So, once the next paycheck came in, she decided to take matters into her own hands and freeze his bank account.
That way, whenever she needed to purchase something, she could just unfreeze the card. However, whenever his sister wanted to use it, it would remain frozen.
And apparently, her boyfriend did not even notice for a few days until his sister called him crying and freaking out. She claimed she was broke, could not afford food, and more.
He still did not know about the card freeze, though, so– after he told his sister to just use it– he learned about her sly plan.
And her boyfriend was totally furious with her.
“We had a massive argument about it, and I told him that if I didn’t do it, he would run out of money again. I also told him he works all the time, so I did not have a chance to have a conversation about it and, instead of sponsoring the life of a brat, he should think about his own kid,” she recalled.
She also claimed that she does not want a husband who leaves his pregnant girlfriend all day to go work and support someone else who has never worked a day in their life. Yikes.
Her boyfriend was not receptive to this at all, though, and actually said he would never marry someone who is as “selfish” as she is. And after that, she snapped.
“Then I said I want him to give me back all of the money I spent on him, even though he earns more than me because I would like to go on a shopping spree like his sister does all the time,” she said.
Her boyfriend just called her pathetic after that, and the pair have not spoken since.
Now, she is pretty torn up about the argument. She still believes that his sister should be able to take care of herself, but she is not sure if freezing the card– and not telling her boyfriend first– was the wrong way to go about it.
