“He said that he won’t love me less if I don’t, but he would like me more if I do because, according to him, he will feel like I am putting effort into making myself look good for him.”
“Not only that, I asked him if he would still love me if I gained weight after giving birth in the future. He said he still would but suggests I work out and lose pregnancy weight in the future. He asked if I would let myself gain more weight and not care about it and said that I should still care about my physical appearance even after giving birth.”
She’s left feeling like her fiancé is becoming more and more invested in her appearance, and she’s concerned that he’s definitely going to stop being attracted to her sometime in the future; either if she doesn’t get rid of the fat on her stomach or if she ends up having a baby and not losing weight afterward.
“How should I react to this?” she wondered. “What do I do? What do you make of this?”
