Instead, she actually got accused of trying to intentionally hurt her sister’s feelings and even of being a bully.
In turn, she essentially just told her mother that her sister is an adult who can deal with her new dietary restrictions on her own.
“I just felt like it was a really inconsiderate thing to say to me given my history,” she added.
Despite feeling good about sticking up for herself at the time, though, she has been having some doubts.
She obviously really cares about her sister’s well-being and health and wants to be there for her sister as much as she can.
At the same time, though, she just does not want to risk falling back on her own recovery efforts by trying out a new diet and is not sure if that somehow makes her a jerk.
