So, a few days ago, some police officers showed up on her doorstep and shared how they were looking for her because she had supposedly gone missing. Obviously, though, that was not the case, and she quickly explained what had happened to the authorities and resolved the issue.
But now, she has been dealing with even more drama because, apparently, her friends are pissed off that she “wasted police resources” instead of just texting her parents back and saying that she did not want to speak with them.
In all honesty, she thinks her friends’ argument is bonkers and believes that since she is a grown woman, she has no obligation to tell her parents where she is.
At the same time, though, everyone’s comments have forced her to wonder if basically ghosting her parents and pushing them to file a missing person report was the wrong thing to do.
Why do you think her parents defended her sister’s actions? If you were in her shoes, would you have answered your parent’s texts and calls? Do you believe it was her fault that police resources were “wasted” or not?
