His Brother And Sister-In-Law Started Trashing Him And His Wife’s Work Ethic, So He Shut Them Down By “Reminding” Them About How Much Money He Makes

The problem was not them discussing their jobs, though. It was the fact that Candice and Frank actually started comparing their work ethic to his and his wife’s.

In fact, the siblings began claiming that they worked harder and were more mature than him and his wife. And as you can imagine, that pissed him off again.

For a second time, though, he attempted to let it slide for the sake of conversation. But that might have been a mistake because Candice and Frank just would not let up.

After discussing employment, they moved on to personal finances– pointing out how he and his wife do not own a home yet and claiming that they “waste” all of their money on vacations.

So, at that point, he was pushed over the edge and finally spoke up for himself. First, he told Candice and Frank that his work ethic was better than theirs. Then, he used his work history and income to prove it.

“I managed to double my income through promotions at work in the last three years, and it would take two of their jobs to make up my one,” he told them.

Afterward, he also pointed out how he and his wife prefer to spend their money on travel now– while they are young– and plan to buy property once they are older.

Despite that, though, he said he and his wife still put away money for their daughter, who is three right now, and will actually have about eighty thousand dollars put away by the time she reaches her senior year of high school.

Finally, he told Candice and Frank that he and his wife both started working early in life and had taken on extra responsibilities at home to help out their parents and care for their younger siblings.

So, he essentially told the pair that how he and his wife spend money is none of their business, but still said that they needed to get the record straight.

Anyway, this ultimately really upset Candice and Frank, and they claimed not to understand why he was being so aggressive.
