-6 tablespoons of white miso paste
-1/4 cup of sake
-1/4 cup of mirin
-2 tablespoons of sugar
Directions:
Start by washing five to six black cod filets with some sake in a bowl, then pat the fish dry. The sake helps get rid of the strong fishy smell.
Next, combine white miso paste, sake, mirin, and sugar. Let the fish marinate in the mixture for at least two days. Three days produce the best results. After three days, wipe off the majority of the marinade on the filets. Then, place them in the oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for twenty minutes.
Finally, garnish the cod with some radish and green onion. And that’s how you make miso black cod!
