So, once her son eventually realized what was going on, you could imagine how he felt. He reportedly looked really defeated and betrayed and even started crying himself.
And by that point, she had had enough and decided to put her foot down. More specifically, she grabbed her son’s car from her nephew’s hands and handed it back to her son. Afterward, she also went online to order her nephew a new one.
She claims that the purchase did not stop her nephew from crying, though. Instead, he was seriously upset, and so was the rest of her family.
In fact, no one even spoke to her following the incident, and she claims that the whole atmosphere and vibe changed. Plus, when her family left, no one even bothered to say goodbye to her or her son.
“It’s not about the toy for me. It’s about the principle,” she vented.
Still, though, with everyone angry at her, she was left wondering whether snatching the toy car from her nephew’s hands was the wrong thing to do or not.
