It just so happened to be a night when she had plans to go to a club with some of her friends. She couldn’t get a ride with them, and her car was in the shop, so she needed to borrow his car.
When she asked for it, he said no.
“I refused to let her take my car until she finished doing the dishes,” he said.
He wasn’t going to let her refuse her responsibilities anymore.
They got into a big argument, and she accused him of being controlling. As a result, her night had been spoiled, and she didn’t get the chance to go out with her friends.
Was he being controlling or acting within reason?
