She Lied To Her Mom About Her Birthday Lunch’s Start Time Because Her Mom Is Always Late, But The Truth Came Out, And Her Mom Was Furious

But her mom didn’t take that criticism well and just started listing off all of the reasons why she was late with a big attitude.

She just could not be bothered to deal with that at the time, though. So, she wound up leaving as planned.

Still, the drama did not end there. Later that night, she got a text from her mom accusing her of acting like a jerk. Her mom also claimed it was rude to lie about the lunch’s start time.

While her aunt agrees with her mom, though, her grandma is completely on her side and thinks they are just overreacting.

Nonetheless, with her family torn over the situation, she has now been left wondering whether telling her mom the wrong start time for her birthday lunch was really a jerky thing to do.

Do you think she should have to lie to her mom in order to get her to show up on time? Is it her fault her mom didn’t get to spend a lot of time with her on her birthday? Should she feel bad about lying or not? What would you have done?
