Quite frankly, though, he didn’t really care about that. So, he decided to give his parents an ultimatum– either he attended, or Elle and Silas did.
But his parents didn’t appreciate that and ended up just calling him a jerk for trying to make them choose. His parents also claimed that if they opted to have him attend instead of Elle and Silas, it might make Elle’s parents think badly of them.
So, he essentially put his parents in a very uncomfortable situation. And now, he’s been left wondering whether demanding that they uninvite Elle and Silas from the garden party was the wrong thing to do.
Even if his kiss with his coworker was “accidental,” did he still cheat on his wife? Do you believe that his ex-wife had an emotional affair with Silas? Regardless, since he chose to marry the daughter of family friends, aren’t his parents still allowed to keep their relationship with Elle and Elle’s parents? How would you feel in this situation?
