That’s why her in-laws are now expecting her to apologize. On top of that, her husband also thinks that to make up for her “rudeness,” they should just take his parents out to the fancy restaurant anyway.
Quite frankly, though, she really doesn’t think it’s wrong to expect her in-laws to pay when they invite her and her husband out to dinner.
Regardless, she’s now been left wondering whether refusing to pay for her in-laws’ dinner makes her a real jerk.
