As for those interested in aiding the search effort, the Winona Police Department advised all volunteers to prioritize safety. Never search alone, do not enter dangerous areas, and do not go into the water.
Authorities revealed that they are still receiving tips on Madeline’s case through Crime Stoppers every day. At the same time, Madeline’s loved ones have created a Facebook page entitled “Finding Madeline Kingsbury” to help raise awareness about her case and keep her story alive.
“We will NEVER stop searching, and we will remain loud. We promise to bring you home,” one post reads.
According to the Winona Police Department, investigators are not prepared to identify a person of interest or suspect at this time. However, authorities are reportedly reviewing every submitted tip, and there is currently a $50,000 reward offering for any information.
“We remain committed to finding Maddi and, if warranted, hold accountable the person or persons responsible for her disappearance,” the press release concluded.
“Thank you to everyone who has helped in the search for Maddi. The outpouring of support has been overwhelming. Please keep her family and friends in your thoughts.”
At the time of her disappearance, Madeline was five foot four, weighed 135 pounds, and had brown curly hair and hazel eyes. If you have any information regarding Madeline’s disappearance or whereabouts, you are urged to contact the Winona Police Department at (507) 457-6288 or Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-TIPS.
