She Recently Ran Into Her Younger Brother, Who Claimed That Her Dad Is Lying About The Real Reason Her Mom Left When She Was Younger

But then, toward the end of her shift, a random kid walked in, and she sat him down at a booth in the corner.

Afterward, she started collecting some dirty dishes from a nearby table before taking the kid’s order. And while the kid– a young boy– ordered, she realized he looked pretty grumpy the entire time.

“So, I left him to it. You don’t really expect tips from kids, anyways,” she said.

Eventually, she also finished up her shift while the kid was still eating his pizza. So she just went out to her car and got ready to head home.

But then, out of nowhere, she heard a voice calling her name in the parking lot. And it just so happened to be the same kid from inside the pizza place.

“I’ll be honest, I don’t really pay much attention to how customers look as there can be dozens of them in an hour, and they blur together,” she explained.

“But out in the parking lot, I did recognize him, and I felt stupid for not realizing before. It was Max.”

After realizing the kid was her brother at that moment, she didn’t know whether to feel happy, worried, or angry. She realized that her brother, who was still only 14, should not have been out by himself.

Plus, the last time she heard anything about Max was that he was living on the other side of the country.

So she was obviously confused, but she still went to hug her brother and tried to say how happy her father would be to see him.

But to her surprise, Max flinched backward and appeared pretty upset. Then, Max actually started yelling at her– accusing her of being a bad sister for ignoring him and claiming he would not be going to visit their father.

This pushed her to start crying, but she was just so confused why her brother hijacked her after her shift and started screaming at her for no reason.
