Regencycore Wedding Decor
You don’t have to book a ballroom to achieve the regencycore aesthetic. Almost any space can be transformed and given a regal air as long as you invest in the proper decorations.
Antique details are crucial for tying the whole look together. Wooden tables and chairs made out of mahogany and polished to a bright shine will work wonders. You can also add intricate gilded mirrors and other items to further emphasize the elegant surroundings.
High ceilings and chandeliers will also make or break the environment of your wedding. Candles were essential for lighting during the Regency era, so incorporate them as well.
Keep the color palette delicate and soft. Pastel colors like pale pink are prominently featured in Bridgerton. Consider displaying cream-colored roses or other flowers like peonies in shades of light pink.
Regencycore Wedding Cakes
During the Regency time period, cakes were not yet fully frosted and decorated. So if you want to go for a traditional cake, opt for a more subdued style with white icing and gold accents.
For a more modern, lavish wedding cake that still contains regencycore elements, select a multi-tiered pastel cake layered with white and gold. Include extravagant decorations on the cake, such as fruit and flowers.
