The video is hilarious as the camera gets close to Monte, who has an extremely tight grip on the steak. You can see Mandy try to wiggle it out of his mouth, but there was no way he was budging. He simply blinks and stares right back at her.
“I’m a golden retriever, and in this case, I retrieved the gold,” says Monte.
After a few more seconds of struggle, Mandy moves one hand off the steak to try and distract Monte when he uses it as an opportunity to swiftly pull the steak from her hands and eat it in just a few bites.
Monte won the battle for the steak, getting the entire cut instead of a few nibbles.
The video had TikTok users laughing and others in shock.
