She called him out on his behavior, calling him a name as well. Her father was immediately embarrassed and shocked by his daughter’s words.
They did not speak for the remainder of the lunch, and now she hasn’t heard from him since. She’s assuming that he’s waiting for an apology, but she doesn’t believe that she needs to give him one.
