So, she started to tell her friend that because she was 5’5″, she was not tall enough for runway gigs and that there was still not a good market for petite midsize girls like her.
“She has no connections to help her on the runway, and she is a normal person, and commercial work is the only chance she has at modeling. After this, she called me a jealous hater and stormed off,” she added.
And ever since this debate happened between them, her friend has not spoken to her.
Looking back, she feels like maybe she was too harsh by telling her she couldn’t work in the high fashion modeling world, and perhaps she should have just agreed with what she was saying and let her find out the truth herself.
