“Because he thought saying my husband was the one who was obsessed with me now made it better,” she explained.
Eventually, her husband got mad at her brother-in-law, too, and they had a pretty massive fight over the situation in front of both of their families.
While her sister was the one who started this whole mess, though, her sister still accused her husband of overreacting.
That’s why she clarified it was entirely her sister’s fault. After all, her sister knew she thought the story was extremely embarrassing, so she didn’t think her sister would ever bring up her old crush in front of her in-laws like that.
Still, her sister thinks she’s just being unfair and is angry that she’s continued to blame the whole situation on her sister.
“My sister doesn’t think I can blame her for this because she was only sharing a ‘cute’ story, but I do,” she vented.
So now, their stalemate has left her wondering whether blaming her sister for all of the teasings is justified or not.
Would you care about people talking about the “crush” you had on your husband? Either way, does she have a right not to want people to talk about something that feels embarrassing to her? Is her sister to blame for bringing it up, or is her brother-in-law in the wrong for refusing to drop it?
