She’s Been Lying To Her Neighbor About Sleeping In And Ignoring His Morning Messages Just So She Doesn’t Have To Take His Kids To School Anymore

This 24-year-old woman’s neighbor, 46, sometimes asks if she can take care of his daughter, 3, and she obliges.
Her neighbor also has an older son, plus another daughter, who attends the same school as hers.
Last year, she noticed that her neighbor’s children would stand waiting for her in the driveway each morning before school so that she could walk with them to their bus stop.
This was never something that she’d agreed to do, and her neighbor had never even mentioned the idea to her in the first place.
She walked his children to their bus stop for a few months, but she eventually got annoyed with it.
“For the record, I am not a morning person, and I struggle with regulating my attitude/frustration with trying to get them ready for school. His daughter and mine would argue or talk loudly, and it would overwhelm me,” she said.
Finally, she decided to send her neighbor a message regarding the situation, and she requested that he give her a break for a week from walking his children to their bus stop.
So far, this school year has unfortunately been even worse than last year as far as her neighbor’s behavior.
Now, instead of his children waiting for her in the driveway, her neighbor has been leaving them on the porch right outside her house.

“They knock until I answer and ask me to take them to the bus stop. Several times, they’ve woken up my 1-year-old. He assumes I will watch his youngest daughter without asking,” she explained.
Her children have appointments that she needs to take them to, and at other times, she sleeps in. Annoyingly, her neighbor’s children have missed their bus because they’ve been waiting for her to walk with them to the bus stop.
When his children have missed their bus, they’ve expected her to drive them to school, and this has happened quite a few times.
Then, she almost lost it when she noticed that both of her neighbor’s daughters had lice, and her daughter unfortunately got lice from them.
“I treat my entire household, and I inform him that his daughter has lice. He says that they must be dead because he just treated her. I show him a video of them moving on the comb. Days go by, and she still has lice. So, I told him he had to pay me to treat her hair. I combed this girl’s hair FOR FOUR HOURS. She’s good for the rest of the week. Next week, she returns, and her hair is yet again infected. His other daughter claims she doesn’t have them, but you can see them dancing on her scalp,” she shared.
Even though she hadn’t wanted her neighbor’s daughter in her house after she’d first noticed that she had lice, he barged into her house and left his daughter with her before she could even object.
This past week, her neighbor wanted her to watch his daughter, but because her youngest son is currently sick with hand-foot-and-mouth disease, she told him she wasn’t able to.
He has still been hoping she would walk his children to their bus stop every morning, but now she has been refusing to answer the door when his children are on her porch.
They’ve sometimes knocked on her door for 20 minutes, and after that, her neighbor has sent her text messages asking her to take them to the bus stop, but she doesn’t respond until that night, telling him that she slept in and didn’t hear his children knocking.
In reality, she purposely sleeps in for half an hour so that she can drive her children to school instead of taking both her children, as well as her neighbor’s, to the bus stop.
Over the course of this ongoing situation, she has attempted to request that he ask her the night before if she can walk his children to the bus stop the following morning so that she has a heads up.
However, he’s never followed through on this request.
Yesterday, she decided to call CPS on her neighbor. During the phone call, she was informed that CPS would send someone to respond to the call within 48 hours. She’s not sure if someone will come to her house in order to obtain any evidence that she can provide them with.
What would you have done if you were in her shoes?
