Once she returned home, they got into a huge argument. According to his wife, he was a jerk for spying on her like that.
“She went as far as to say she’s disgusted by my gross invasion of her privacy,” he shared.
He acknowledges that he shouldn’t have to snoop on his wife, and he should be able to trust her.
However, because she has had so many emotional affairs in the past and constantly lied to him about them, spying on her is the only way he’s able to find out what she’s truly up to.
In his view, she is gaslighting him into thinking he’s the one in the wrong when she’s the one being unfaithful to him.
His wife believes that the issue at hand is him spying on her in order for him to come up with evidence of her cheating, not her unfaithfulness.
For him, looking at the car app is no different than going on your Ring app and witnessing your partner bringing someone else home while you’re gone and then deciding to rush over to the house to catch them in the act.
He admits that he isn’t perfect, and he’s not proud of snooping on his wife, but he doesn’t think he’s the one who’s wrong in this situation.
Do you think he was wrong for snooping on his wife?
