On Sunday, this woman’s 29-year-old friend Dana was supposed to have gotten married to her 32-year-old fiancĂ©, Josh, but the wedding got called off.

She and Dana go to the same college together, and Dana asked her to be in the bridal party, along with some of their other college friends.

From the beginning, Dana’s wedding was a dumpster fire for many, many reasons. The first reason things got messy was because Dana wouldn’t invite one of their best mutual female friends to the wedding, citing she knew they were in a romantic relationship.

She is not having a romantic relationship with their female friend at all, and she was shocked Dana would even say that.

Moving on, when it came time to go to the dress fitting, Dana said all of the bridesmaids needed to come up with $2,000 each for their dresses since it had to be a particular style.

She can afford to drop $2,000 on a bridesmaid dress, but a lot of the other bridesmaids don’t have that kind of money to blow.

Then, for the guest list, Dana wouldn’t allow Josh to invite any of his female friends. Josh was only allowed to invite women he’s related to.

Next, Dana accused one of the bridesmaids, who doesn’t drink for personal reasons, of being pregnant…right in front of this girl’s own parents.

This girl nearly got kicked out of her house, as her parents believed Dana’s ridiculous lie she made up about the pregnancy.

This girl dropped out of the bridal party afterward, though she was classy through and through and never badmouthed Dana.

This girl merely said she was unable to make it to the wedding after all, and they all learned the day of the wedding the real reason why this girl bailed.

The drama wore on as the wedding grew closer, with too many things to list out, though one of the final things that happened was Dana tried to force all the bridesmaids to cancel their holiday plans for her destination bachelorette party.

She told Dana she couldn’t make it due to an even crazier holiday work schedule, and one of the other bridesmaids pulled the same excuse.

If that wasn’t insane enough, wait until you hear what happened on Dana’s actual wedding day. The day kicked off terribly as Dana melted down over her flower girl canceling at the last minute.

Dana’s flower girl was sick, and Dana screamed at the flower girl’s mom that she would sue her if she wasn’t coming.

Josh miraculously prevented Dana from melting down further, and the wedding preparations wore on.

As things kept moving forward, Dana continued to melt down and make everyone cry, including the bridesmaids and wedding staff.

She thinks Dana’s maid of honor deserves an award for doing so much damage control. As for her, she made sure to stay far away from Dana, so she checked on the food and the flowers.

“Eventually, I had my makeup and hair done, and then the bride asked for a little bit of time alone to ‘decompress’ from the stress,” she explained.

“We didn’t even fight it, you could not see a group of women run faster away. [The] wedding was starting in thirty minutes, so we figured she would be fine alone for that little.”

“I spent those thirty minutes just sitting in the chapel with my phone. It had to be about five minutes before the start of the wedding when [the maid of honor] came over to tell me the wedding was canceled. I asked her what happened.”

Well, Josh caught Dana hooking up with his uncle in the bridal suite. As she tried to pick her jaw up off the floor, the maid of honor instructed her to run before everything boiled over.

She grabbed her purse, found the two bridesmaids who drove there with her, and they ran as fast as they could.

She checked in with all the rest of the bridesmaids as they made their exit, and luckily the entire bridal party was able to escape unscathed.

Later on Sunday evening, she placed a call to the maid of honor to ask what had gone down after she left.

“Apparently and rightfully, Josh called off the wedding, called [Dana] a few names, told off his uncle, and has since left with his mates to, I hope, have the biggest single-man party ever,” she said.

“I feel so bad for him. He’s an absolute gem of a man. He apparently also told Dana and her parents that she will be paying the cancellation fees.”

Oh, and Dana’s own dad called her out in front of the remainder of the guests and said she needs to pay for the wedding alone for being so easy.

She figured that would be it and she would never hear about Dana’s wedding again, but she was so very wrong.

Yesterday, Dana had the audacity to call her and demand that she pay $5,000 to cover the cost of the wedding cancellation fees.

“According to Dana, it was our duty as the bridal party to pay her cancellation fees,” she continued.

“I obviously told her no and that she might as well lose my number. I am never speaking to this woman again.”

“This has been pretty much the reaction of all bridesmaids and the MoH. By the way, MoH? Josh’s older sister.”

What do you think about all this?
