He really can’t believe she blocked him after he asked her to pay, and since she is pretty freshly divorced, he’s curious if perhaps she doesn’t understand how dating truly works.
He also thought it would be easier to ask her to pay before going out on the date, as he didn’t want to cause a scene at a restaurant.
“Did I do anything wrong?” he wondered. “Should I have said it differently or perhaps over the phone instead of texting?”
