Prior to a recent occurrence, this 30-year-old woman thought that she and her 30-year-old husband had a wonderful marriage.
Her husband actually started out as a close childhood friend of hers, and then, as they grew up, their romance blossomed.
Since they always started out as friends, on occasion, they can feel like besties more than spouses.
So far, she and her husband have never had any enormous issues in the time that they have spent together.
They have excellent communication skills, and they do things alone sometimes, so they get some space from one another, which she finds to be balanced and healthy.
“We decided to try for a baby 4 months ago and confirmed our decision after a lot of talks and financial planning,” she explained.
“He went away on a promotion business trip, and I found out I was pregnant, and I was so excited. I texted him, and he did not respond, but he did fly home the same day. He came inside the house and did not say a word.”
“It was really uncomfortable and strange, but I left the situation alone and figured he was in shock. The next day comes, and I decide to gently bring it up and ask him how he was feeling about the news, and he goes off on me, which is a first.”
Her husband blamed her for being cold to him and copping some kind of an attitude, which only left her even more confused.
