Around 10 months ago, this woman says that her husband ended up wetting the bed after having too much to drink.

Now, every time her husband drinks, it doesn’t end with him wetting the bed, but she’s becoming increasingly alarmed about the fact that this even happens since he wet the bed again yesterday evening.

Last night was the first time her husband went out in several weeks, as he was recovering from being sick.

A few hours after her husband got home, he woke up her and said he ended up wetting the bed.

“This is not the first time it has happened, and it only ever happens after drinking alcohol,” she explained.

“In the past, he has admitted to having an “unhealthy “ relationship with alcohol, and HE chose to put some limits/boundaries in place – e.g., getting home by a certain time, every second drink being water.”

“These boundaries last a few weeks/months, and then it’s back to doing whatever he wants. I’m 36 weeks pregnant, we already have a 4-year-old, and I’m fed up with all this. I asked [my] husband not to drink until he has been checked by a doctor to see if there’s a medical reason for this happening, and he flat-out refused, mainly because he has an old friend/colleague coming to town next week.”

Instead of agreeing that perhaps she was on to something and he should get checked out, he called her controlling.

There are actually many medical reasons why an adult can end up wetting the bed, and some of them include neurological reasons, a urinary tract infection, diabetes, and sleep apnea.

Oh, and in case you were wondering, no, she did not help him pick up the mess he made of their bed; she made him do it himself.

She’s left wondering if it was wrong of her to tell her husband to stop drinking after he wet their bed again last night.

What do you think, and what advice do you have for her?
