This 45-year-old man was married to his atrocious 43-year-old ex-wife for 5 years, and they dated for 7 years before that.

They ended up having three children together: 17-year-old Jax, 19-year-old Kyloe, and 21-year-old Dean.

In the months leading up to him filing for divorce, he realized his ex-wife was starting to be crazy controlling and paranoid too.

Any time he left the house, his ex-wife needed to know where he was planning on going. One time, he went to help his grandma get some heavy furniture into her apartment, and although he disclosed this to his ex beforehand, she still demanded to know where he was heading out to.

“I researched why these types of things might happen and found out it might be a sign of cheating. Turns out I was right,” he explained.

“Basically, a friend of mine saw her and another man kissing and flirting inside a restaurant where he was with his siblings and mom. He sent me photos. I filed for divorce, blah, blah, blah. You get the idea.”

“I didn’t really care what I got in the divorce; I only pushed for 80/20 custody and to keep my money. Surprisingly, she didn’t contest anything but the custody. I got 70/30 instead of 80/20 but hey. I picked myself up because I still had majority custody.”

Earlier this year, his ex-wife got diagnosed with cancer, and it’s terminal. His kids Dean, Jax, and Kylie were the ones to share this news with him, and after they did, he didn’t care one bit.

He did his best to provide his kids with comfort, but he really did not care in the least to find out that his ex-wife was losing her life.

He even admits that he’s ashamed to say he’s excited to finally win full custody of Jax when his ex-wife passes away.

Kylie moved in with him when she turned 18, and Dean no longer lives at home in regards to his older children and where they live.

Now, several days after finding out about his ex-wife’s cancer, Dean called him to say his ex-wife was already bedridden and had requested that Dean speak to him.

“Basically, her last wish was to have one last conversation with me,” he said. “I told Dean (quite bluntly, I’ll admit) that, “No, I would not talk to her.”

“All care I had for this woman evaporated when I found out she cheated on me. Dean understood but told me to expect a call from his maternal side as they had basically treated her like the world revolved around her in her last few months.”

“Somehow, my ex-in-laws got my number and have been bombarding me with texts and calls calling me heartless and evil for not granting my ex her final wish. My kids and my ex’s cousins (whom she never got along with) are on my side. But all of [her] family and a few mutual friends are on her side.”

Do you think it’s wrong for him to deny his ex-wife her final, dying wish?
