For her 30th birthday, TikToker Becca (@eazybreezybeckygirl) and her husband, Michael, hung out at her mom’s house and enjoyed a steak dinner.
They left at around 7:45 p.m. When they got back home, they noticed that the top lock of their front door was locked, and they don’t usually lock that.
They went inside to get ready for bed. Suddenly, they heard two dogs barking, even though they only had one dog. That was when Michael came out to the kitchen to tell Becca that their neighbor, Larry, was in the main bedroom closet with his pit bull.
Becca immediately went outside with their toddler and called the police. Then, she called her mom to come over. Michael came outside and said that Larry told him some people pulled up in his driveway, shot their other neighbor, and stole their truck.
So, he ran to the closest hiding spot, which was apparently Becca and Michael’s closet.
“We haven’t had this problem with Larry in the past, but Larry does hallucinate, and he does go down to his brother’s house and smoke, roll, shoot up, whatever it is that is his choice of pleasure,” said Becca.
Michael had drawn his gun and was aiming it at the closet. Since they lived in the middle of nowhere, they had to wait 35 to 40 minutes for the police to show up. Becca ended up calling highway patrol because the police were taking too long.
The supposedly stolen truck started pulling up onto their property, so Michael pointed his gun at the truck. Their other neighbor got out of the truck.
She was a lesbian who let Larry live with her because she felt bad for him. Larry didn’t pay rent, didn’t have a job, and couldn’t pass a drug test.

About 20 law enforcement officers showed up to the scene at the same time. Becca started screaming for help and that she had a toddler. The cops started collecting everyone’s stories. They also called a SWAT team as part of their protocol.
Not only was Larry in the closet with his aggressive pit bull, but he was also in the closet where Michael kept his loaded guns. Larry claimed that the girl two doors down gave him some antibiotics that made him a little loopy.
Finally, Larry was escorted out of the house without any handcuffs. He was taken to jail. The sheriff informed Becca and Michael that they were charging him with everything they could. The couple will be pressing charges as well and getting a restraining order.
“I feel like it was swept underneath the rug,” said Becca. “Like, this man walked out of my house, no handcuffs, nobody was holding his arm.”
“He actually had a cold bottle of water when he walked out, and we don’t keep our waters in the fridge, so I don’t even know where he found that at or who gave it to him or what.”
What really freaks Becca out is how long it took for help to arrive. She had originally wanted to move out there for peace of mind and freedom, but now that has all been taken away.
Her child is too scared to sleep in his own bed or use the bathroom. They have changed their locks, installed cameras on their property, and will probably put their house on the market.
