Some people may see having your initials spelled out on your fingernails as tacky, but it can actually be really cute, classy, and fun.
You can use several nail themes and ideas for your initial nails. Here are a few to get you started!
Floral Initials
For this look, you can start with a nude nail base and then have your nail technician draw out the first letter of your first name in white on one nail, like your thumb or pointer finger. Then, you can have them delicately create some floral designs around the white letter for a sweet, pretty theme.
Metallic theme
This would be a great idea if you had an event like a birthday party coming up, as metallic nails are bound to stand out.
You can paint your nails an eye-catching metallic color and paint your initials on top in black and white, or do it the other way and paint your initials in a metallic hue on top of a neutral nail color.
For Romantic Occasions
For your upcoming wedding or another romantic occasion like your anniversary or Valentine’s Day, you could pay tribute to your partner and write their initials on your nails.
You could get a classic French manicure for your wedding and ask a nail tech to delicately add your partner’s initials on one or two fingers. For Valentine’s Day, you could get your partner’s initials painted on your nails in red or pink!
