As if being asked to be a bridesmaid isn’t enough of a responsibility, can you imagine being asked to be a bridesmaid for someone your friends or family can’t stand?

One woman has been feeling guilty after agreeing to be the bridesmaid of her sister’s sworn enemy.

She’s 28-years-old and has a 30-year-old sister named Tammy. She and Tammy aren’t very close and have been pinned against each other since they were little girls.

Growing up, Tammy was considered the pretty sister and got a lot more praise from their parents and grandparents, which gave her a sense of entitlement she carried into adulthood. Tammy did

some modeling as she got older, and she often felt overshadowed by her.

However, when they were teenagers, Tammy’s teenage dream came crumbling down when she got pregnant while they were in high school.

Once their school, which had very strict policies, found out Tammy was pregnant, they kicked her out and took away her scholarship. It was the talk of the town, and everyone at their high school wouldn’t stop gossiping about Tammy.

“Teen gossip can be vicious, and I left voluntarily because I couldn’t take it anymore,” she said.

“I was so mad at Tammy for how her bad decisions affected me and couldn’t give a crud that the guy who knocked her up.”

The father of Tammy’s baby ended up ditching her when he found out she was pregnant. He refused to be part of their baby’s life and took another girl to their school dance.

That girl was named Chloe, and Tammy hadn’t liked her for years. However, after coincidentally running into each other at a tutoring session in college, she and Chloe became good friends despite her drama with her sister.

As they got older, she and Chloe remained good friends, and she never mentioned their friendship to Tammy.

She was recently invited to be a bridesmaid in Chloe’s wedding and didn’t plan on telling Tammy, but Tammy found out after seeing her in a bridal party picture with Chloe on social media.

“[Tammy] called me a bad sister and asked me how I could be friends with someone who hurt her so badly,” she recalled.

“I asked her when she has ever been a good sister to me and [told her] that what she and Chloe went through in high school wasn’t that bad.”

Now, Tammy and her parents want her to drop out of Chloe’s bridal party, but she doesn’t want to do that.

Should she feel bad for being Chloe’s friend, or is her sister being unreasonable?
