She Hooked Up With A Guy, And Then He Ghosted Her While She Was Still In His Hotel Room
There are many different reasons people have for ghosting someone after sleeping with them. Some people ghost because they have commitment issues.
Others do it because they’re just plain immature and would rather not engage in healthy communication.
A TikToker who goes by the name CP (@chanzandchill) is talking about how she was supposed to meet a guy in his hotel room so they could hook up, but he never made an appearance because his phone died.
So, she was actually friends with the guy she was supposed to hook up with. He had booked a hotel room because he was visiting from out of town.
On the day they agreed to hook up, they had been in constant communication and confirmed with each other that it was going to happen.
They had also met up earlier that day so he could give her a key to his room. During that exchange, they ended up sleeping together but still planned to meet again at night.
When she got to the room that night, he was nowhere to be found. She waited all night for him to show up and tried texting him to inquire about where he was.
However, her text messages kept turning green after they were sent, indicating that his phone must have either been turned off or completely drained of battery.
At some point, she eventually fell asleep. When she woke up, it was nine in the morning, and he still hadn’t arrived.

She had three theories as to why he never made it back to his hotel room. The first was that he went to hook up with his ex instead. Second, he fell asleep on his friend’s couch. Or third, he was lying dead in a ditch somewhere.
She texted him again, hoping he would answer. Finally, he responded, informing her that he had a bad night and would be there in 30 minutes. She decided to stick around and listen to what else he had to say about why he had ghosted her.
Apparently, he had lost his phone earlier in the night and spent a long time searching for it. When he found it, the phone was dead, and then he fell asleep on his friend’s couch. She thought his story checked out, but she still left the hotel feeling annoyed.
Several TikTok users were skeptical of his story and were convinced that he had been busy hooking up with someone else while she was waiting for him.
“He either blocked you or turned his service off. If his phone died, it wouldn’t show delivered until their phone is charged and turns back on,” wrote one user.
“Girl, he is obviously hiding what really happened. I think he was with someone else,” commented another.
“IIDK, my intuition is saying that he would’ve found a way to let you know instead of wasting your time but didn’t. Can’t call or FB/IG msg you from his friend’s phone? Just the respectful thing to do,” added a third.
