She Yelled At Her Parents For Taking Her College Money She Saved To Help Her Brother Pay For His New Car
This 15-year-old girl currently works two different jobs in order to save up to go to college. She works in a local café for one of her jobs, and for the second, she babysits.
She puts all of the money she makes from her jobs into a bank account, and her dream is to be able to become a pilot one day.
Unfortunately, the training for that is super expensive, and that’s why she’s saving her heart out.
Now, two weeks ago, her 19-year-old brother went out and purchased a brand-new car. He did get a loan from a bank, but then he told their parents there’s no way he can pay it all back.
Her brother doesn’t have a job, and their parents pay for him to go to college. When she heard that he couldn’t pay off his car loan, she said she was happy to take his resume to a couple of spots in town and help him find a job.
“Last night, my parents told me that they were going to take the money from my account to pay for his loan, and I was furious with them,” she explained.
“I screamed and called them [jerks] and said that they didn’t care about me at all because they never supported my dreams (I am the only girl in my family with a younger and older brother).”
“I haven’t spoken to my parents since then. I feel like all my hard work has gone down the drain, and I will never get to accomplish my dream. My relationship with my brother was good before this, and I know that his bad financial decisions were not intended to harm me, but I’m still angry with him and my parents for behaving like this.”
She realizes her parents want her money to help her brother get back into a good financial situation since he no longer lives at home, but it’s putting her career dreams at risk.

She’s left wondering if it was wrong of her to yell at her parents for taking her college money to help pay off her brother’s car.
