She’s Been On 30 First Dates, And Only Two Guys Have Offered To Pay For Her

This girl is wondering what on earth is going on after she’s been on 30 first dates, and only two guys have offered to pay for her at the end of the night.
She always offers to pay her own way on first dates, and as soon as she says that, it doesn’t go that well for her.
One of three scenarios plays out no matter what. The first scenario is that a guy will offer to pay for her, but when she says she’s happy to go half and half on a dinner bill, the guy will instantly jump on that and allow her to pay for herself.
The second scenario is that she offers to pay on a date, and a guy looks confused until it dawns on her that he’s trying to stall and get her to cough up cash without saying that outright.
When she does insist on paying on the date, the guy is always happy to allow her to do that, even if they initially act like maybe that’s not the case.
And the third scenario, which is absolutely the worst, is when a guy promises to pay for the two of them, and later on sends her a Venmo request for her share of the bill.
As she said, she has been on 30 first dates, and 28 of these guys have allowed her to pay for herself.
Only two have been gentlemanly and paid for her.
“I’m honestly wondering if, as a girl, from a male and female perspective, am I supposed to offer to pay or not?” she asked.

“I wonder if my offering is giving them signs I’m not into the date or if that’s me not leaning into my feminine energy and coming off too masculine. I absolutely do not mind paying my half; however, I think after 30 first dates, I’m getting the feeling that most guys usually don’t actually want to pay for the date, even if they offer to or insist.”
“I’m just sort of confused if they don’t want to why they would even offer it. I’d rather just not go through the motion, and if both of us agree to go Dutch, that would sit better with me.”
What advice do you have for her?
