“I said this is just how raffles work, and it’s a good lesson for kids,” she recalled.
“There are times my sons haven’t won things from raffles or similar events. They learned young [that] it’s all up to luck.”
She knows the young boy’s parents, and they never went up to her to ask if Cameron would give their son the truck. But after leaving the event, her husband was wondering if they should’ve gone ahead and made Cameron give the toy away.
Was she wrong not to make her son give away his toy, or did she do the right thing?
