Her Sister Lied About Having An Emergency While Traveling Abroad And Borrowed $2,500 From Her, But Her Sister Really Just Got Scammed By A Guy Who Said He Was Going To Take Her To A “Romantic Island” With The Funds

In response, she said Mae’s sadness wasn’t important because she purposely withheld information from her to get her to agree to loan her the money so she could then give the money to a guy she hardly knew.

“I said that I’m not going to pay the price for her idiocy, and she needs to pay me the full amount as soon as possible, and I’m not joking,” she shared.

During the conversation, Mae told her she could pay her $100 monthly. She told Mae to find part-time work because she wanted the full $2,500 and wouldn’t agree to wait around two years to receive all of it. Since she doesn’t have a lot of disposable income, she needed that money.

Their other sister heard about the situation and said that Mae was dumb for trusting this man but advised her to show Mae sympathy.

In her sister’s view, the man who scammed Mae was to blame, not Mae. She didn’t agree with this because Mae decided to give him the money in the first place and omitted why she needed the loan when she asked her for it. She blames Mae since Mae gave the man the money of her own volition.

What would you do if you were in her shoes?
